Anyone using the PMS system???

Seriously, the PMS system is a nice system. I prefer some of the tuning features of the Hondata over it, however, it does in fact have some distinct advantages over the Hondata. First, if you live in a state that has adopted these "NEW" emissions tests where they simply plug a scanner into your data port, the PMS will still function properly where the Hondata will not be compatable. Second, you have the ability to create THREE different tunes with the PMS... so you could have a street tune, a full race tune, and a "Valet" tune where the car is kept out of boost while in the hands of strangers.

just wondering if any of you are using that system, cause i'm planning on buying one.
There are a couple of choices:
Hondata-which i don't really know that much
AEM full stand alone-REALLY EXPENSIVE
and PMS-Reasonably priced but not as many features as AEM!!

What do you guys think, i will also be getting JIM's Alt. pulley and RC 440cc,
i have the M45 blower, any suggestions out there, thanks!!!!

JRCIVIC, i will be calling you in a couple of weeks. What type of payments do you have?? As well can you get the right size for the belt??
Oh ya JRCIVIC, do you think that the alt. pulley will be ok for the M45 blower? And how much more boost will i see with your alt. pulley?

You should see about 3 psi more boost with my stepper pulley... and yes, I have the belt that you need in stock.
I accept many forms of payment: cash, certified check, money order, personal check (it must clear before product is shipped), Visa, M/C, Discover and American Express. I am also a verified Paypal user, although using them lately has made me a bit nervous lately.

Talk to Gvtec on HondaVision. He has been running the PMS system on a JRSC GSR at 8psi for over a year now.

How is it that the computer can keep the car out of boost? I talked to a guy this weekend who had put a clutch pulley on his super charger, but without that, wouldnt it always "boost" ?

The only way I know to keep the car out of boost is ZIP22's boost controller. I have one of these but it has yet to be installed. So I have no comment, but what I have heard of other people using it it works wonders!!!! and nobody can boost your car but you!!
